Friday, June 16 @ 6pm | BBD: Breath, Bandhas, Drishti. Deep breathing with sound gives us body and mind control. Bandhas are internal muscular and energetic centers, that, when activated and engaged pulls our attention within. Mastery of bandhas enable us to gain strength from the inside out, which, over time, gives us complete body control. Drishti’s are gaze points to direct our attention during asana practice. In order to successfully progress in our practice, we must understand the concepts and learn how to apply them in our asana practice. But how? Spend the afternoon with Krista exploring these invaluable concepts in depth, and learn how to apply them in the asanas of primary series. Serious work and some serious fun! Suitable for all levels. 2 hours

Saturday, June 17 @8am | Opposition of Force 2: Seated and Finishing Sequence - Hands down one of the most valuable workshops you will ever attend! Every balance has a counter balance, every push has a pull, every extension a flexion. The Ashtanga Yoga practice is a full syllabus of opposing forces. Using the Ashtanga seated and finishing sequence postures we will break down each posture in order to see, feel, understand and apply the concept of opposition of force. A very physically challenging session, be prepared to break a sweat, shake, squirm and learn! Suitable for all levels but be prepared to work! 2 hours.

Saturday, June 17 @10:30am | Ground it down, twist it out: A phenomenal and eye opening session for all level of practitioner. Once we can truly root and stabilize the body we can take any twist infinitely deeper in asana practice. Spend the afternoon with Krista exploring how to better stabilize the body through the hands, feet and pelvis, which then allows us to tap into opposing forces as we ground down and lift and twist up and out. You will be truly amazed how much deeper you can take any of your twists once you can safely, steadily and strongly root your body and your mind. 2 hours.
